eHealth

eHealth

The world is not getting smaller, just more connected (Globalization)
Reducing the cost and time of communication to zero
Individuals are connecting directly to the world on information, knowledge, history and everything. (Corporate Knowledge Bases are so passé.) Open Source & Collaboration!

Drug companies sell globally, for use in people, pets, plants and plastics
Back Packers to Baby Boomers travel, overseas workers, Volunteerism, relatives & friends are overseas. The 6 Degrees of Separation Rule needs a revamp.

Doctors specialize, so the family doctor is morphing into a Triage internet service.
Parochial Governments can never deliver an effective connected medical record system.

Just create a Google email style account and allow individuals to maintain all medical history – prescriptions, test results, xRays, Referrals... Then sell it to Google.
NB: Google already have one but it is built as a PC style application, rather than an open source social media application.

When a tsami “totals” me, while in a train, travelling from Tunisia to Timbuktu, any Tom, Dick or Harry with a mobile phone and no medical expertise needs to know my allergies, tut suit ..

How long have you had an ED? >> Longer than you have had an MD
Have you had any Xrays in the last 6 months? >> 14, will you be awake long enough?
I asked my GP if Fish Oil (Omega 3) could repair blood vessels >> His answer “Who knows, they come out with new knowledge, faster than anyone can keep up with”.

eHealth: Doctors can’t do it, Governments don’t want to do it much, the Drug companies want to do it too much. Only the individual really needs it..
